TF2 Support Players On Servers
Probably the most significant class in Team Fortress 2 is the support classes. Supporting the scouts, you’ll find this class all over the map. Support also keep the heavy stocked and ready.
One thing TF2 does have that Counterstrike Source game servers don’t have, is the medic. The syringe launcher is the medic’s main weapon. Just as powerful, the medi gun is his secondary. As his melee weapon, he has the bone saw.
The main responsibility of the medic on Team Fortress 2 game servers is to heal. You should therefore find any good medic on the front line healing the scouts and solders. While healing is their main job, staying out the firing line is also important. His weapons mediocre, so the medic should stick to healing and use his weapons as a last resort. The medic will receive a bonus of 150% on his own health by healing other allies. However, once the medic stops healing, the friend’s health will return to normal. This bonus is known as over healing and the charge bar will fill and once this is full the medic can make himself and an ally invulnerable for up to 10 seconds. Think how effective this is for a heavy when he can attack an enemy base for a prolonged period. If you like looking after your friends on Team Fortress 2 servers, then the medic is the best choice for you.
The sniper rifle is the sniper’s main weapon (surprise surprise!). For his secondary weapon, he carries a sub machine. For melee, he uses a machete. The sniper will take you out from long range if you stay still for too long. The sniper is perfect for those that like to stay on the back lines and pick off targets. To be successful you need to find the out of site hard to find areas. You can take down targets in scores once you have found a good hiding spot. The sniper is also effective for taking out the medic that is supporting the heavy. Once you’ve taken out the medic, it will allow your team to progress much quicker. The longer you stay scoped in on your target the more powerful the shot is. This is indicated by an expanding laser scope. Don’t however expect to take out targets at short range with the sniper.
The spy is the James Bond of Team Fortress 2 servers, using a cloak and disguises to blend in and sneak behind the enemy lines. With the butterfly knife he can take out foes in one smooth movement. However, be aware this move isn’t instant. If you move out of range you can be spotted. No weapons are available while the spy is cloaked and if you do draw a weapon other than the electro sapper, you will be spotted. The electro sapper will slowly drain the health of engineer’s buildings before destroying them. Thus it is best to place the sapper and then take out the engineer as the sapper can be removed with just two whacks of the engineers wrench. Remember, when you can see a spy’s disguise, he’s friendly. If you fancy yourself as James Bond, the spy is worth a look.
