The Similarities Between Team Fortress 2 Classes On Gameservers
When it comes to game server, some are just better, and a bit more advanced than others. The popular online game, Team Fortress 2 has some of the best servers available associated with the game. The best functionality available on a gameserver to date, meaning fast speeds and no clipping, is something you can expect from a TF2 server. A good bit of the reason that this game is so popular is due to the quality of the game server hosting it.
There are 9 different classes, based of different skills and abilities, that you will become familiar with playing a TF2 servers. These are then further broken down into three different subclasses. The three subclass categories are based around support, offense, and defense. While one does not have to play within these parameters, playing within the classes is a way to ensure that you have the right skills and abilities for the team oriented missions.
The Medic, the Spy, and the Sniper are the characters with specialized skills in the support category. These characters, as the name implies, are tasked with providing indirect support in order to help complete missions successfully. The Medics job is pretty straightforward, keep teammates alive and healthy. The Spy can cloak himself so as to be indistinguishable from other players and the Sniper has the ability to provide back up reinforcements from afar.
The offense category includes the Soldier, the Scout, and the Pyro. While being the weakest of the bunch, the Scout makes up for it in both speed and agility. Far more durable and tough than the Scout, but not nearly as fast, is the Soldier. And finally, the Pyro is one tough baddie.Outfitted in a fire retardant suit and gas mask, he launches all sort of fire based offensives on his enemies. This category of classes is, obviously, designed to be on the \”front lines\” of any missions.
The final category in Team Fortress 2 is the defense category. The Heavy, the Demonman, and the Engineer are the three classes contained within this subcategory. Charged with handling all matters defensive, this will be the class you want to use in the event that you are under attack. Though slow, the Heavy is tough. The Heavy can sustain the most damage of all the classes on the game. By eating, his health is easily replenished. Armed with two different styles of grenade and rocket launchers is the Demonman. His mission or purpose is to combat attacks indirectly. And finally, the Engineer provides on the spot defenses for his teammates.
You might choose to play with a particular class depending on your specialty, area of interest, or which \”side\” of the game you are on. Divided into three different subcategories, these classes all have their fair share of weaknesses as well as strengths. What type of battle or game mode you choose to play, and what your teammates are choosing for their classes is also a vital consideration to take into account when trying to choose which class to play. Keeping all these things in mind, go out and have a fun gaming time!
