PSP Downloads: A Quick Primer

If you are wondering how to download games to PSP device that you have recently purchased then do not worry it is quite easy really. There are different ways in which a person can download games on to theirs. They can either use sites on the Internet which offer them completely for free, however the problem with these particular sites is that they often illegal as well. But the much safer and better way of downloading any kind of game on to your PSP is through joining a membership site.

You can either join one where you will be expected to pay either a yearly or monthly subscription fee or there are ones which just you require you to pay a one time life time membership fee. Both of these kinds of sites will then generally allow you unlimited access to all the games that they have stored within their databases.

In order for you to download any games to your PSP from these sites you will first of all need to download them on to your PC or laptop. This is really easy to accomplish as long as you make sure that you have the correct software on your PC or laptop that will allow you to download such games for your PSP.

All of the most reputable membership sites should provide you with the correct software. The first step to getting the files is to sign up to one of the sites. After your payment has been confirmed you’ll have access to the correct software and the sites database of files. You can then start to download the games and movies you want.

The games will initially download to your laptop or PC. The membership site should have given you good instruction about how to transfer the games to your PSP. In order to do this you will need either a USB cable (which connects your PSP directly to your PC) or using a compatible memory stick. Once the PSP has been connected to your PC using a USB cable then it is simply a case of you transferring the game from the file where it has been saved after being downloaded from the site directly on to your PSP.

If you use the USB method your PSP should show up immediately. You then just need to drag and drop the files to the correct folder. This is by far the easiest method and a child should be able to complete it without any problems. The only problems happen id you have used the wrong file type of transferred the files to the wrong folder.
