The simple features enable this camera to be very user friendly. The camera does most of the work all you have to do is point and shoot. Set the camera on \”Auto mode\” and the camera decides the best setting for the situation. The \”Auto mode\” feature is great for traveling to different climates, countries or sporting events. The 3.6x zoom and the 3\” LCD Screen continues to help provide great tools to capture the picture perfect movement. No more waiting for photo to develop at a local shop, that power is in your hands now. You can use the 3\” LCD Screen to playback and confirm you captured that moment. If not you can just delete the photo and try again.

One of the many advantages of the Nikon Coolpix L22 is not having a chargeable battery. You ask how is that an advantage? Have you ever grabbed your camera and missed a picture of a lifetime because the camera has no charge? This point and shoot camera has two AA batteries that allows you to get an estimated 240 shots. Pack a few extra batteries in your pocket or camera pack so that never happens again.

While this is a camera that is a hallmark of superior design from Nikon, the lens falls short of impressive. There has been pretty of complaints that the top and bottom are somewhat soft. There are some customers who have expressed concerns about delays between shots. However, you can opt for the 5 burst mode to rectify the problem.

But a review at would be inadequate if it failed to address the price. At $119.99, you are getting a bargain for a lightweight and very convenient camera. It may be classified as an entry level camera but looking at the features it is shipped with, you get the sense that it will prove a bargain whatever your experience or frequency of use. Whether you love capturing sporting events or you travel frequently, this is the perfect complement you need to pack every time.
