What’s interesting about the traditional music is it carries in its notes some inkling of the history of the country. National music is the music that a country considers as its root music. Every country has their on type or sound. It is celebrated and revered by the people who are locals in the country. It is also called traditional music for it carries the tradition and heritage of the early fathers of a certain country. The music, instruments, and how the music is played usually tells you a lot about the country. Listening to it will give you a chance to share a bit about the countries culture and heritage.

The old music is now integrated in today’s modern music. Traditional Irish music is usually dance and classical music, their music is usually accompanied by the harp, horn pipes and Jigs. It is co notated with merry making and drinking that’s why the sound will induce the feeling of dancing and fun. Its local sound that has its own musical characteristics is now translated to modern popular music in forms of rock and others.

Traditional Irish music has remained vivid and dynamic until the late 20th century. Traditional Irish music with its evolvement managed to produce different Irish local artist on the likes of Van Morrison, Hothouse Flowers, The Pogues and Enya. The latter is known to keep the music of Ireland very instilled in her sound.

The music itself will give you a glimpse of the nation’s culture and heritage. The music of Ireland is very interesting. It has its own rigid character that is evident in its sound.
