The 100 thousand Dollar Bike may be a joy for the eye to behold, but that Old dirty Bike tells a different story to the Soul of every True Biker out there! If you do not hear a Story, Well you are either not listening or you just do not get it! If you do not get it then just sit there and be quiet because when you speak negatively and put down the Character or Brand of that old Motorcycle, Well it shows everyone around you just how much that you do not get it!

There is a difference between a Motorcycle Enthusiast and a Biker, but only the Biker knows the difference !!!

Getting the Basics of Animal Face Painting

Animal designs are among the most popular face painting designs. Animal themes vary extensively in design-you can create spots, stripes, whiskers, fangs, cat’s eyes, dog’s “black-eye”, pug nose, beaks and so much more! This article will show you the basics of animal face painting and how to further enhance your skills.

First, get to know the basic animal designs. The most popular beginner’s design is the butterfly and bunny. Here are other animals you can portray in your animal face painting:

3. Noses - noses are easy to create. You can simply apply a black, pink or red spot on the nose.

4. Beaks - beaks are best created by the illusion of “sticking out” from the face. For step-by-step instructions, search books or online information on animal face painting.

5. Eyes - different animals have different eyes. Paint on a vertical line that has a thicker middle and pointed ends for cat’s eyes.

6. Fur and feathers - there are many books that will provide you with information on how to create the illusion of furs and feathers using paint alone.

Prepare yourself for actual face painting now that you know the basics. Here is a basic procedure:

Step 1: Prepare the palette of colors that you will need for the design you want to make. For example, a tiger is going to need a color palette of orange for the base, black for stripes, yellow for eyes and white for the lower eyelids.

Step 2: Before you begin animal face painting, ask your model if he or she would like the face to be painted entirely or partially. For those who don’t want the whole face to be painted, add some animal-like features only in a small area like the eyes or part of the cheek.

Step 3: Begin painting! The typical animal face painting procedure is by first painting on the base with a moist sponge and placing the details or animal patterns with a brush last. This is a short list of the movies released this year (2008). These are some of the movies I enjoyed watching this year. Hopefully, you will see a couple of movies that are worth watching.

Jumper: During a near death experience, David Rice discovers he has an unbelievable ability. He now knows he can teleport himself to anywhere he desires to be, anytime he wants. He then comes to learn that there are others with this capability. Unfortunately, after a few years of fun, he finds out that there are those that want him, and all the jumpers wiped out. He now must battle for his life, as the hunters want him dead.

BOLT: Bolt: This film is an animated family comedy. Bolt, is a dog who is an actor, who plays the role of a dog that has super hero dog powers. His problem is that he honestly believes he is this super hero dog with superpowers. When, by chance, he is finds himself in a real world situation, he realizes that he is just a dog. On a journey to get back home, he is helped by Rhino and Mittens, his newly found hampster and cat friends.

THE CHRONICALS OF NARNIA, PRINCE CASPIAN: It’s only about one down the road in their normal lives when, the four saviors of Narnia, Lucy, Susan, Peter, and Edmund magically reappear in Narnia. Running for his life, Prince Caspian has blown the magin horn, praying that he will be saved. In Narnia, 1,300 years have passed since they were Kings and Queens, but they now return to battle for the freedom of Narnia once again. With the help of the brave warriors of Narnia, they battle to free Narnia.

WANTED: Wesley, an office worker going nowhere in life, learns that the father he never knew, is a professional killer. His father has been murdered, now Wesley is asked to join into the secret society of killers that his dead father was involved with. He is asked to become the asassin that that he was destined to become. After that, everything becomes extremely complicated. Enjoy the ride.

THE DARK KNIGHT: Batman, and Lt. Gordon and D.A. Harvey Dent, are on a mission to clean up Gotham City. This has effectively reduced crime, but now a new super criminal arrives on the scene, and attacks the city. Now, Batman really has his hands full, as the Joker is dispensing his criminal plots on the big city.

TWENTY ONE: The basis for this film is the actual tale about M.I.T. students who built a winning formula to beat blackjack. These college kids planned, trained, and executed an assault on the casinos. To play in Las Vegas, where players who beat the game can be banned from playing, they devised signals, disguises, and even fake drivers liscenses, to keep from being banned. This movie is based on the best selling book that tells how the M.I.T. teams took it to the casinos.

10,000 B.C.: This cinematic production sends us back 1,000’s of years. When a warlike tribe storm the Yaghai people, they ride off with some of the people, including the lovely Evolet. A strong young hunter, D’Leh, who is in love with her, leads a group of hunters to pursue the warlords, and rescue Evolet and the others.

WHAT HAPPENS IN VEGAS: Wild and crazy nights in Las Vegas are normal. Joy and Jack, who had just met, wake up to discover that they are married. When they win a $3 million jackpot, the question is who should get the money, so they ask a judge for a decision. It is decided that the two must stay married for a few months, and give their marriage a chance. With $3 million on the line, the battle is on as both want to have the cash for themselves.

WALL-E: This picture is an animation comedy. Mankind has left Earth, since it had become a pile of rubbish. Waste removal robot, Wall-E, has been left to clean up the mess. Years later, when a robot namend Eve shows up searching for any signs of life, Walle-E has a friend. Eventually, when Eve is recovered by the craft that sent her, Wall-E somehow get on the ship, and begins an exciting new life.

These days just about everyone buys or rents films, and watch them at home. An increasingly popular way to get movies is by using down loading technologies off websites. There are websites that with a membership, you can download almost any film you can think of.

Is it better to make your own canvas, you might wonder? It is up to you, but I don’t doubt that you will try it at some point. Canvas is a pretty strong fabric and originates from flax plants often grown in Ireland or Belgium. Many artists like to make their own frames. So they go out, buy the canvas off the roll, and stretch their own.

It may be that you need a certain size for your work and decide to go ahead and make your own. So for this, you will need a few basic items, which I will go on to explain. Although now there are so many ready made ones available in an assortment of shops, it is not really necessary to have to make your own.

Firstly, you need to buy some canvas by the metre, don’t skimp on this. Of course you need the wood pieces that make up your stretcher, by slotting together. On top of this, you will need a small paintbrush, the sort that you use in the home, acrylic gesso, a hammer, scissors, plus a staple gun, wedges and staples.

The easy part is when you first slot the stretcher together (four pieces). Then put your canvas across the stretcher, making sure you have at least two inches extra over the sides. You can then cut your canvas. From the centre, on the longest side, staple together the wood to the canvas. Making sure that you have stretched the canvas tight across, you can staple the middle to the other side.

The same happens on the other 2 sides. What I do then, is to begin stapling one at a time, alternately one side, then the other across the frame from the centre staple. Face your frame face downwards working in the same style on the back of the canvas.

You can staple the sides, and / or, the back, this way. It seems to be a matter of personal choice. Flatten the corners down and staple well. Now take the hammer.

Wedges need to be fixed by tapping in place the four corners with the hammer. Take your acrylic gesso and apply in turn two coats. Wait for the first coat to dry though.

Now, if you want to use the ready made canvasses, what should you be looking for? These are usually made of cotton duck or linen, but sometimes they also have synthetics in them. There is often a good assortment of sizes, but it is better to consider what type of texture you need.

Some are very tightly woven, so in turn, are ideal for painting in fine detail. With others there is quite a rough woven surface. This can be seen through your painting, which can add to the effect you are wanting to achieve.

Most of the ready made boards may already come primed with acrylic. These can be used for oils or acrylics. Oil based primed ones should only be used for oils, as if used for acrylics, the paint will flake.

I have put together a short list of the more popular movies put up on the big screen in 2008. These are some of the films I enjoyed watching this year. I hope you find a picture or two that are good viewing.

Jumper: During a near death experience, David Rice (Hayden Christensen) learns something incredible. He now knows he can transport himself to anywhere he desires to be, anytime he wants. He then comes to learn that he is not alone in having this capability. After years of “jumping” around the planet, he learns that there are people that think jumpers are a threat, and need to be eliminated. He now must battle for his life, as those people believe he should die.

BOLT: Bolt: This film is an animated comedy. The star is dog actor Bolt, who plays the role of a dog that is a super hero dog. His problem is that he honestly believes he is this super hero dog with superpowers. When he is accidently put into a real life situation, he realizes that he is only a normal dog. Now, trying to get back home, he finds help, in the form of a cat named Mittens, and an overweight hampster named Rhino.

THE CHRONICALS OF NARNIA, PRINCE CASPIAN: It is one year later, in “real” time, when Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy are teleported back to Narnia. Fearing for his life Prince Caspian has blownn the magic horn, hoping to be saved. In Narnia, 1,300 years have passed since they were Kings and Queens, but the four legendary characters have be summoned back to save Narnia from the evil Telmarines. With the support of the brave warriors of Narnia, they will fight for the future of Narnia.

Wall-E, a trash collecting robot, is assigned to continue cleaning. Years later, when a robot namend Eve shows up searching for any signs of life, Walle-E has a friend. When Eve is retrieved by the spaceship that sent her, Wall-E sneaks aboard, and begins an exciting new life.

Most people buy or rent films, and views them on their home entertainment system. A more recent method for getting films is through downloads from the internet. Online providers have websites that offer downloading of virtually any movie ever made.
